1. Purpose and Services

VerbaFlow is a writing platform that provides tools for planning, drafting, editing, and publishing essays. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VerbaFlow website and services (collectively, "the Service").

2. Acceptance and Modification of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective 30 days after the updated Terms are posted on this page. Your continued use of the Service after that period constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

3. Minors

If you are under the age of 18, you may only use the Service with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service on behalf of a minor, the parent or guardian agrees to these Terms.

4. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing your name and email address, or by signing in through a third-party provider (e.g., Google). You agree to provide accurate and current information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

You retain full ownership of all content you create using the Service ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant VerbaFlow a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to store, display, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. Copyright and Limited License

The Service, including its design, source code, logos, and documentation, is the intellectual property of VerbaFlow. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sub-licensable, and revocable right to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without prior written consent.

7. Suspension and Termination

VerbaFlow may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may close your account at any time through your account settings.

8. Use Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload viruses, malicious code, or content that could harm the Service or its users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or access the Service without permission
• Use the Service for unauthorized commercial purposes
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

9. Availability

We strive to maintain the availability of the Service at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

10. Rules Governing Content

You are solely responsible for the content you create and share through the Service. You agree not to post or share content that:

• Is illegal, defamatory, or fraudulent
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others

VerbaFlow reserves the right to remove any content that violates these rules without prior notice.

11. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

12. Support

Support is available through the ticketing system inside the application. VerbaFlow will make reasonable efforts to respond to support requests but does not guarantee resolution times.

13. Fees

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. All payments are processed securely by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. VerbaFlow does not store your credit card information. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. All fees are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but no refunds will be issued for the remaining subscription period.

14. Service Provided "AS IS"

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VerbaFlow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to VerbaFlow in the 30 days preceding the claim.

16. Trademarks

VerbaFlow, the VerbaFlow logo, and all related names, logos, and slogans are trademarks of VerbaFlow. You may not use these trademarks without prior written consent. All other trademarks appearing on the Service are the property of their respective owners.

17. Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. VerbaFlow is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party sites and does not endorse them.

18. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Switzerland.

19. Language

These Terms are available in English, French, and Italian. In the event of a discrepancy between language versions, the English version shall prevail.
