- The whole editor
- The outline, focus mode, search and replace, typography controls and markdown are in every plan, including the free one. Paid plans lift the limits; they do not unlock the writing.
- Your writing, exportable
- Essays export cleanly on any plan, so nothing you write is held hostage by a subscription you decide to stop.
- Private by default
- Essays are visible only to your account until you create a share link, and shared links are never indexed by search engines.
Questions about billing
- What do I get without paying?
- A full editor and one essay. Everything about the writing experience — the outline, focus mode, styles, export — works on the free plan. What paid plans add is room: more essays, and the features that only make sense once you have a body of work.
- What is the difference between monthly and yearly?
- Only the billing period and the price. The yearly plan is the same product paid for in one go, at a discount over twelve monthly payments.
- What does the lifetime plan cover?
- A one-off payment for permanent access to the paid features, with no renewal. It is the option to choose if you would rather not think about a subscription again.
- Is there a trial?
- Yes. Paid plans include a 14-day free trial, and you can cancel during it without being charged.
- What happens to my essays if I cancel?
- They stay in your account and you keep reading and exporting them. You return to the free plan limits for creating new work.
- Which currencies and payment methods do you take?
- Payments are handled by Stripe and charged in euros. Cards are accepted everywhere Stripe operates.
